A single-voice patchable analogue synthesiser, the 0-Coast combines familiar subtractive synthesis concepts with approaches more commonly associated with Buchla-style instruments. Designed to work as a complete monosynth without patch cables, it can also be opened up through its patch bay for deeper experimentation and integration with modular systems.

Its triangle-core analogue VCO offers timbral shaping through the OVERTONE and MULTIPLY controls, while the transistor-based DYNAMICS circuit provides a distinctive low-pass gate response. The 0-Coast also includes an external audio input, MIDI clock synchronisation, a dual-mode MIDI-controlled arpeggiator, and two channels of MIDI-to-CV and MIDI-to-Gate conversion.

Revision firmware NoCoast1.6.8 adds portamento and further MIDI functionality.
