There is an item on your website I am interested in, can I come in and try it out?

You sure can, our expansive showroom is located at 110 Albert St, Brunswick East.

How do I go about purchasing an item from your website?

Just click the "Add to Cart" button in the listing. If there is no option to have the item shipped, please contact us with your address & we will respond with a quote. If contacting us by phone, please quote the stock number to assist our staff in your query.

That sounds great, but I need one yesterday. Can you do all the leg work and source the item for me?

Provided it's not made from unobtainium I reckon we can. Contact us with your vehement gear related desires and we'll do our best to hook you up.

I have a musical instrument I’d like to sell - will you give me some straight up cash for it?

We sometimes buy, trade and also sell on a consignment basis for a 20% commission*. A short time after your item has sold we give you 80% of the sale price, either by direct bank deposit or cash cheque. Please contact us before bringing in your item, to ensure we have sufficient shop space. Also, be sure to give your item a good clean beforehand, to give it the best possible chance of selling.

Although we do require instruments to be fully functioning to sell on consignment, we also offer servicing & repairs to facilitate your instrument selling for the highest possible price. 

Actually I really like the look of that thing you're selling over there, can I trade what I have for said thing?

Depending on what you have to trade, we might be able to help.

Can I put something you are selling on Lay-by?

On most items we offer lay-by for a minimum 10% deposit, for a maximum of one month on second hand gear (at the tagged price) and three months on new equipment. A longer term can sometimes be negotiated depending on the circumstances.

What does HOLD mean?

An item may be on hold temporarily for a variety of reasons, usually shop administration. It does not necessarily mean that it is not for sale. Feel free to make an enquiry if you are interested in purchasing.

What does PRE ORDER mean?

Items that are not in stock but still manufactured are usually available for preorder. Any preorders placed will be fulfilled when the item becomes available. Please note preorders are not refundable, and can only be exchanged for credit, even if the arrival time exceeds expectation.

Do you provide a warranty?

We offer a 7 day warranty on all second hand items & the manufacturer warranty (usually twelve months) applies to new items. We do our best to list any faults when describing each item.

Modifications performed, disassembly, or misuse/mishandling of any items purchased within the seven day term void all warranty

Do you offer postage?

Yes - worldwide.

 

We offer free postage within Australia on new items above $200 provided you aren't in a remote area, or a huge distance from Melbourne (WA for example) and the item is a large or difficult item to ship, or expensive items requiring extra insurance.

If there is an item without a postage cost specified, please contact us with your address & we will respond with a quote.

I'm a little unhappy with my purchase, can I return it?

Please get in touch via the email related to your order within a day or two of receiving it so we can discuss and hopefully resolve any issues you are having. Provided the piece of gear is in the same condition as purchased, we can consider return of the item. Please be aware return postage is the responsibility of the customer, and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, and the original shipping costs we incur sending the item to you, even if it included free shipping. Return/exchange of second hand items must be organised within 2 days, and new items within 10 days. More information regarding returns can be found here.

Do you repair gear?

We offer guitar repairs and setups with a quick turnaround.
Synthesiser repairs, amplifier and pedal repairs are only undertaken for items intended for sale in the store.
