There is an item on your website I am interested in, can I come in and try it out?
Yes. We are located at 155 Elgin Street via Markov Place, Carlton Victoria 3053. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:30 and 6:30, and Saturday & Sunday between 10:30 and 3:30. If you are unable to make it during those times we are also available by appointment.
How do I go about purchasing an item from your website?
Just click the "buy" button below the item. If you are in Australia, we accept credit card, direct deposit or BitCoin. If paying via bank transfer please contact us & we will respond with the Found Sound bank details. If there is no option to have the item shipped, please email with your address & we will respond with a quote. For customers outside Australia we accept PayPal (plus a small surcharge), Credit Card (Provided you can prove your identity), international money order or BitCoin. If contacting us by phone, please quote the stock number to assist our staff in your query.
That sounds great, but I need one yesterday. Can you do all the leg work and source the item for me?
Provided it's not made from unobtainium I reckon we can. Email and with your vehement gear related desires and we'll do our best to hook you up.
I have a musical instrument I’d like to sell - will you give me some straight up cash for it?
We sometimes buy, trade and also sell on a consignment basis for a 20% commission*. A short time after your item has sold we give you 80% of the sale price, either by direct bank deposit or cash cheque. Please email first before bringing in your item, to ensure we have sufficient shop space. Also, be sure to give your item a good clean beforehand, to give it the best possible chance of selling.
Actually I really like the look of that thing you're selling over there, can I trade what I have for said thing?
Depending on what you have to trade, we might be able to help.
Can I put something you are selling on Lay-by?
On most items we offer lay-by for a minimum 10% deposit, for a maximum of one month. A longer term can sometimes be negotiated depending on the circumstances.
What does HOLD mean?
An item may be on hold temporarily for a variety of reasons, usually shop administration. It does not necessarily mean that it is not for sale. Feel free to make an enquiry if you are interested in purchasing.
Do you provide a warranty?
We offer a 7 day warranty on all second hand items & the manufacturer warranty (usually twelve months) applies to new items. We do our best to list any faults when describing each item.
Do you offer postage?
Yes - worldwide. If there is an item without a postage cost specified, please contact us with your address & we will respond with a quote.
Do you repair gear?
We offer guitar repairs, synthesiser repairs, amplifier and pedal repairs.
