In-Store Browsing Status:

Adhering to guidelines from the Victorian Government regarding the recent outbreak of COVID-19, Found Sound will be open for browsing from the 28th of July 2021 with a reduced capacity and 1 person per 4sq m density limit.

Online order shipping & ‘Click & Collect’ offered as normal. Our online store is still in full swing and our sanitised staff will be packing and shipping orders in our usual timely manner. We are ready as always to answer any queries online or over the phone too. Please check out our COVID-19 FAQ below in regards to guitar repairs, consignments, online sales, and in-store pickup and appointment options during this period. We’re very grateful for all your support and cooperation.






Q: Must I mask? 

A: From 11:59pm on Tuesday 28th July 2021 restrictions remain in place across metropolitan Melbourne that require anyone aged 12 years old and over to wear a fitted face mask, unless an exception applies. When interacting face-to-face with our staff when ‘Clicking & Collecting’ or dropping off consignments/repairs, we’d kindly like to ask you to wear your face mask too.

Our premises are not the place to have a debate on the topic of mask wearing, and intimidating and disrespectful behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated. 


Q: Can I pick up my online order?

A: Yes. Please let our staff know via email or phone call when you'll be coming in to collect your order and we'll make sure it's ready to go. Don't forget a proof of ID.


Q: Can I browse your store? I’m looking for a new noise-maker!

A: Found Sound will be open for browsing as of 28/07/2021 with a density limit of 1 person per 4sq m. Our staff will also be available online and over the phone with great advice, and in-hand descriptions of any item.


Q: Are you still taking on repairs/servicing stringed instruments?

A: Yes we are. Before bringing the instrument in please give us a call or send us an email with the details of the instrument and the repair/service you require. 


Q: Are you still taking on consignments?

A: Yes we are. Please give us a call or send us an email beforehand with the details of the item you’re looking to sell and we’ll see if it's suitable for us to sell.
