Returns Policy

Return/exchange of second hand items must be organised within 2 days, and new items within 10 days.

Please get in touch via the email related to your order within a day or two of receiving it so we can discuss and hopefully resolve any issues you are having. Provided the piece of gear is in the same condition as purchased, we can consider return or exchange of the item depending on the reasons listed below. Please be aware return postage is the responsibility of the customer, and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, and the original shipping costs we incur sending the item to you, even if it included free shipping. 

Please note - We are unable to accept returns on mouth-piece instruments / any products that require blowing (ie. Harmonicas, Trumpets, Saxophones, Flutes, Melodions, Soma Laboratory The Pipe or any other brass, woodwind instruments etc) due to health and safety regulations. 

Item fault

If the product you have purchased from Found Sound is new and has a manufacturing fault, we will facilitate the repair or replacement under the warranty provided by the distributor of that product. If the item is DOA (dead on arrival) or develops a fault that is covered by the warranty within 14 days of the delivery date we will replace the item immediately with a new one if stock levels allow.

For second hand items, we offer a 7 day return window for fault or item not received as described.

Please be sure to read the manual and setup instructions to make sure you understand how to properly and safely operate your new piece of equipment. Commonly we find that the product is not faulty, but rather it is being used incorrectly, so please be sure to check the basics before returning your gear.

Change of mind

Generally speaking, we do not offer change of mind returns, but can make an exception under special circumstances. Please note we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee. 

If the item shows signs of use, or damaged in any way, we reserve the right to charge a fee.

Processing a return
Please respond to the email we sent your invoice to, and include the invoice number, product and serial number, and a detailed description of the fault, or a video of the issue if it is difficult to describe.
Once we receive your information, we will be in touch with the next step. Do not send the item back until you have return approval.
Please Note: The customer is responsible for freight back to us or to the local repairer, but we will cover the cost of return to you. International shipping and import costs are not covered.
Found Sound does not accept liability for returned goods damaged in transit, so please make sure  your returned goods are packed carefully. Always keep the original boxes for your equipment so you can safely move or send your unit for repair. If you do need to send the unit back without the original packaging, make sure it is packed in a well padded package secure & snug as damage can occur to poorly packaged returns.
If no fault is found, buyer must cover return shipping cost. we reserve the right to charge an examination fee.
