The CV Big Bus expands on Make Noise’s original 2013 CV Bus design, created for Alessandro Cortini’s personal system. Designed for the increased modulation density of the New Universal Synthesizer System, it provides eight horizontally distributed multiple channels for clean, intuitive signal sharing across a modular patch.

Each channel is positioned centrally within the system so control signals appear beneath their potential destinations, helping reduce cable clutter in complex patches. Illuminated numerical activity windows provide at-a-glance indication of channel number, level, rate and polarity, while colour-coded polarity display further assists with navigating modulation-heavy patches. Any signal generated within the system—including clock, modulation, sequences and audio—may be distributed via the CV Big Bus.

A high-quality stereo line driver converts modular-level signals to standard line level. It features 3.5 mm mini-jack inputs for Left/Mono and Right stereo signals, a master volume control, and stereo line outputs. The left output also functions as a 3.5 mm TRS headphone output. AC-coupled outputs and an integrated limiter with visual overload indication help protect headphones and PA systems when patch levels become excessive.
