The Plumes Jr MOSFET is a compact, limited-edition version of EarthQuaker Devices’ low-to-medium gain overdrive, based on the familiar “green” overdrive circuit that has become a longstanding industry standard.

This is the Limited Edition EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Jr Mosfet Smaller Signal Shredder.

Designed to work alongside a quality valve amp, it delivers transparent, warm saturation while retaining the character of the guitar and amplifier. Three clipping modes provide a range of drive textures, from symmetrical LED clipping to asymmetrical silicon and diode-free op-amp drive.

Modes 1 and 2, labelled L and N, retain the original circuit designs. Mode 3, labelled M, features a reworked MOSFET clipping circuit for a tighter, more focused overdrive with pronounced harmonics and a high-gain, tube amp-style bite.
