n/vision takes the Roland Boutique range in a new direction, built around a dedicated wavetable sound engine rather than a recreation of a vintage instrument. Its wavetable synthesis technology comes from the same family as the n/zyme engine in FANTOM EX, combining contemporary sound design tools with analogue-modelled filters in the familiar compact Boutique format.
With eight-voice polyphony and two independent Parts, n/vision supports Dual and Split configurations as well as independent sequencing. Dual wavetable oscillators provide 63 wavetables, each with 127 selectable positions, while hands-on controls encourage immediate sound creation and performance.
Advanced sound design features include phase and shape modulation, waveform drawing and Step LFOs. The effects section offers 17 multi-effects types per Part, alongside dedicated top-panel Delay and Reverb controls.
