Produced from 2000–2008 as part of Fender’s American Series, the American Telecaster was a flagship USA-made model.
It features a modern “C”-profile neck with 22 medium-jumbo frets, Fender-branded Schaller tuning machines with staggered post heights for improved string tension, and an updated string-through-body bridge fitted with stainless steel saddles. Electronics consist of two American Series single-coil pickups.
