Inspired by the Hofner 100/1 'Beatle' bass, this Italian made hollowbody violin bass is cheesy in the best way possible, with its distinctive ornate Eko scroll headstock and chunky pickup selector switch differentiating it from the rest of the pack.
Features arched spruce top, birdseye maple back and sides, and a short-scale bolt-on five-piece laminated maple and bound rosewood neck (21 frets and zero fret with 34.9mm nut width). Unique cosmetic stylings include a nice 3-ply binding on the edges of the body, clear plastic pickguard with painted underside and attached thumb rest.
Its two pickups with a master volume and tone control produce a warm, rounded bass sound with distinctive vintage tone. Made in Italy.
Includes original pasteboard case. Incredible condition for its age! Strung with flat-wound strings.
