The Compadre combines an all-analogue VCA compressor with a flexible clean or dirty boost section. Its two compression voicings cover smooth, transparent studio-style control and a more sustaining, vintage pedal-style response. The DRY control blends uncompressed signal back in, retaining pick attack and transients even at heavier compression settings.

The independently controlled boost offers Clean and Dirty modes, with three selectable EQ curves for further tone shaping. In Dirty mode, the boost section delivers overdrive when engaged.
