The SC16-I provides a 16-channel analogue front end for StageConnect systems, carrying up to 16 sources over a single StageConnect cable.

Channels 1–8 feature TRIAD microphone preamps on balanced combo inputs, suitable for microphones and instruments. Each channel has individually switchable 48 V phantom power. Channels 9–16 provide eight balanced line-level combo inputs, accepting either XLR or TRS connections.

The integrated TRIAD preamps offer high common-mode rejection for reduced noise, stable operation across a wide range of source impedances, and precise analogue gain adjustment in 0.5 dB steps. Preamp gain and parameters can be controlled remotely from a StageConnect-enabled console or via the desktop control panel over USB.

Ultranet input and output ports allow the SC16-I to integrate with Ultranet receivers from Midas, Behringer, Klark Teknik and Turbosound, supporting personal monitoring and processing directly from the stage. The unit can also transmit MIDI input commands to compatible Behringer StageConnect products, including the SC-U USB interface, allowing audio and MIDI control data to share the same infrastructure.
