Inspired by the original Bass VI models produced from 1961 to 1975, the Classic Vibe Bass VI offers the distinctive low-register voice of a guitar tuned one octave below standard pitch. Its 30" scale length, three single-coil pickup configuration and vintage-style floating vibrato make it well suited to players exploring the space between guitar and bass.
The poplar body is paired with a maple neck finished in tinted gloss urethane. A comfortable “C”-shaped profile, 9.5" maple fingerboard and 21 narrow-tall frets provide a familiar, easy-playing feel, while black block inlays and period-inspired headstock markings complete the 1960s-influenced styling.
Three Fender Designed alnico single-coil pickups are individually selectable via on/off slide switches, with master volume and tone controls. A two-position bass-cut “strangle” switch provides an additional tonal option. The 6-saddle vintage-style bridge incorporates a non-locking floating vibrato, fitted with barrel saddles.
