Fantastic Japanese compact valve buffer and booster built around a JJ Electronic 12AU7 (ECC82), operating internally at 100 V for wide headroom and clean response. At minimum volume it functions as a buffer, with increasing volume engaging up to +20 dB of boost, offering a cleaner, wider-range response than the 12AX7BB for guitar, bass and acoustic-electric instruments.
