Altura A5-CE Oceana Series Solid Top Classical Acoustic/Electric Cutaway with Gig Bag

The Altura A5-CE Oceana Series is a solid-top classical acoustic-electric guitar combining the warmth and responsiveness of cedar with a comfortable cutaway body and Fishman electronics for amplified performance.

A solid cedar top gives the A5-CE a warm, immediate response with plenty of harmonic detail and sensitivity to a lighter touch. Sapele back and sides complement the cedar with a clear, focused midrange and good projection, creating a balanced nylon-string voice suited to classical playing as well as contemporary fingerstyle and crossover styles.

The cutaway body provides easier access to the upper frets, while the Fishman Presys II preamp system makes the A5-CE equally at home plugged into an amplifier, PA or recording setup. The onboard controls and tuner provide convenient adjustment without getting in the way of the guitar's traditional acoustic character.

Quality appointments include a bone nut and saddle, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, gold-plated machine heads and decorative rosewood and maple binding. A light gloss polyurethane finish completes the instrument with an understated, traditional appearance.
