Behringer BCR32 Zaquencer USB/Midi Controller

The Behringer BCR32 is a hands-on USB/MIDI controller and four-track sequencer built around 32 freely assignable rotary encoders. Based on the control-focused approach of the BCR2000, the BCR32 expands the concept with an integrated sequencer, OLED display and extensive MIDI, CV/Gate and analogue sync connectivity.

All 32 rotary controls are freely assignable, with eight also functioning as push encoders for additional control. Colour-coded LED rings provide clear visual feedback for parameter positions, while 20 programmable buttons offer direct access to functions and assignments. An OLED display, dedicated transport controls and navigation and preset controls provide quick access to deeper settings without sacrificing the immediate hands-on workflow.

The integrated 32-step sequencer provides four independent tracks that can operate as mono or polyphonic note tracks or as drum tracks. Each track has independent loop start, loop length, clock division, direction and swing settings, making it possible to build polymetric and evolving patterns. Two additional MIDI controls can be assigned per track to parameters including MIDI CC, program change, aftertouch or pitch bend.

Up to 192 patterns can be stored internally across 12 banks of 16 patterns, making the BCR32 suitable for both studio sequencing and hardware-based live performance.

Connectivity extends well beyond conventional MIDI control, with USB-C, MIDI In, MIDI Out and MIDI Out/Thru alongside four pairs of CV/Gate outputs and analogue Sync In/Out. This allows the BCR32 to act as a central control and sequencing hub for software instruments, MIDI hardware, desktop synthesizers and Eurorack or other CV-controlled equipment.
