29 Pedals Toki

TOKI is a hybrid fuzz and overdrive designed to cover everything from lightly driven, warm gain through to saturated, textured fuzz. A discrete front end and IC-based output stage provide plenty of range, with TRIM and PAD controls adjusting signal level at different points in the circuit, CMP shaping the top end, GAIN controlling the second discrete gain stage and LEVEL setting the final output.

With up to approximately 57 dB of input-to-output gain, TOKI can move from restrained overdrive into brighter 1970s-style fuzz and heavier distortion. It works comfortably before or after buffered pedals, can be used as an always-on input driver, stacks well with other gain stages and is capable of driving heavier loads at the end of a pedalboard. Power consumption is under 100 mA, with relay-based switching and instant bypass when power is removed.
