The Fender Japan ST57-55 Stratocaster is an early FujiGen-era reissue built between 1984 and 1987, capturing the late-'50s Stratocaster in one of the most respected periods of Japanese Fender production.

Based on a 1957-style specification, it features a basswood body paired with a one-piece maple neck and skunk stripe, along with a vintage 7.25" fingerboard radius for an authentic period feel. The classic three-single-coil layout, synchronized tremolo and vintage-style tuners keep the instrument firmly rooted in traditional Stratocaster design.

Early Fender Japan instruments from this period are highly regarded for their build quality, consistency and attention to vintage detail, making the ST57-55 a particularly appealing example of the FujiGen era.
