The California Deluxe Monterey E is a folk-style acoustic-electric designed for comfortable playing at home, in the studio or on stage. Its compact, classic body shape delivers a focused, articulate voice with an intimate character, while the solid Sitka spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides provide a full, balanced acoustic response.
Scalloped X-bracing supports the top for a lively, responsive tone. A satin-finished mahogany neck with a comfortable C-shaped profile and 12" fingerboard radius offers a familiar playing feel, fitted with vintage-style frets.
For amplified performance, the onboard Fishman CD-1 preamp system includes an integrated tuner. Sealed-gear, split-shaft tuning machines provide stable tuning, while the Micarta nut and saddle are designed for efficient string-to-string tonal transfer. It comes fitted with phosphor bronze strings for a rich, full-bodied sound.
