Klinger Buzz Fuzz Deluxe

Inspired by the legendary three-transistor germanium fuzz heard on classic King Crimson recordings, this handmade pedal captures the rich, sustaining character favoured by Robert Fripp. It delivers everything from lightly driven late-'60s overdrive through to thick, saturated fuzz with a distinctive vintage voice.

The circuit features three carefully selected vintage germanium transistors, matched for gain and leakage to ensure consistent performance. A slightly gated response adds definition to sustained notes and can be fine-tuned using the Balance and Sustain controls, allowing the pedal to clean up remarkably well with your guitar's volume control.

The Tone control has been revised from the original vintage specification to provide a more practical high-frequency response, offering greater versatility while preserving the classic character of the circuit.
