Flame Papagei Two-Track CV Looper for Eurorack

The Flame Papagei is a compact dual-track CV looper for Eurorack, designed to record and play back 1V/Oct sequences on a 16th-note grid. Running from an external clock, it continuously loops melodic material for up to 16 bars per track, with loop lengths independently adjustable while playing.

Its distinctive gate-controlled recording workflow removes the need for a dedicated record button. While the input gate is active, incoming 1V/Oct CV is written directly to the selected track—or both tracks simultaneously. Recording over an existing loop replaces notes step by step, making it possible to reshape sequences in real time without stopping playback.

Papagei also detects short gates between two 16th notes as retrigger steps, while a short note can cut off a longer note. Dedicated Reset, Clear and Mute buttons for each track provide immediate control during performance and improvisation.
