Haken Audio Control Voltage Converter CVC Module

The Haken Audio CVC is a high-resolution Eurorack control voltage converter designed specifically for the Continuum, ContinuuMini, EaganMatrix Module, and Expressive E Osmose. By connecting directly via high-speed i²C rather than MIDI, it preserves the full expressive detail of these instruments, translating nuanced performance gestures into precise analogue control voltages for modular and analogue synthesizers.

Featuring sixteen 16-bit CV outputs across four voices, the CVC accurately reproduces pitch, pressure, timbre, and other performance data with exceptional resolution. This allows subtle finger movements, continuous pitch changes, and expressive dynamics to be captured with a level of precision far beyond that of conventional MIDI-to-CV converters.

The module is fully programmable using the Haken Editor, enabling custom control voltage generation through EaganMatrix functions including mathematical operations, shape generators, and delays. With flexible routing, dynamic output reassignment, and support for custom voice configurations, the CVC provides a powerful bridge between Haken's expressive instruments and the Eurorack ecosystem.
