Vintage 1966 Goldentone Bassmaster 40 model 1756 Head/cab unit with fliptop head & cabinet with TV legs. 40 watts of clean headroom with Fender-style cleans.
This model number on this unit is 1756; however it is not to be confused with the Soloist Amp that shared the model number.
Made in Melbourne, Australia for Rose-Morris.
Original vinyl tolex on head has been replaced, however it adds a distinct character to the unit and does not affect functionality. Cabinet retains the original white fawn tolex however has aged to a rich tobacco brown.
Loaded with non original modern-build Lorantz Speakers (N.O.S) & has been serviced recently, with a valve swap to boost the output from 40w to 60w.
