The Fender Super-Sonic 60 Head was designed for players who want classic Fender cleans and modern high-gain tones from a single all-valve amplifier. Combining a versatile two-channel design with substantial power and flexible speaker connectivity, the Super-Sonic became a favourite among touring and session players looking for a broad range of sounds without relying on multiple amplifiers.

This 2007 example features the distinctive Blonde and Oxblood cosmetics, complete with vintage-style ivory radio knobs and flowing 1960s Fender script logo.

At its heart is a 60-watt valve power section driven by a pair of 6L6GC output tubes, delivering substantial clean headroom, punchy low-end response, and the dynamic feel associated with classic American amplifiers.

Vintage Channel

The Vintage channel offers two selectable voicings based on two of Fender's most celebrated amplifier designs:

Vibrolux®
Bassman®

The Vibrolux mode delivers the sparkling cleans and responsive dynamics Fender is famous for, while Bassman mode adds additional body, warmth, and low-end weight.

Controls include: - Volume - Treble - Bass - Vibrolux/Bassman voicing switch

Burn Channel

The Burn channel expands the amplifier well beyond traditional Fender territory, providing a wide range of overdrive sounds from edge-of-breakup tones through to heavily saturated lead sounds.

Dual gain controls allow detailed shaping of the drive structure while retaining the core character of the guitar.

Controls include: - Gain 1 - Gain 2 - Treble - Middle - Bass - Volume

Effects Loop
