The Doepfer A-142-3 combines an envelope generator and VCA into a compact 4HP module, making it an easy way to create complete percussive voices with minimal patching. Switchable between AD, AR and looping LFO modes, it offers hands-on control over attack and decay/release times, plus a manual gate button for instant triggering. An independent envelope output lets you animate filters or other modulation destinations, while external CV can take over VCA control for even greater flexibility.
