100W Silverface Bassman style solid state bass head
Founded in Japan in 1953, Miyuki Industries began by producing guitar amplifiers under the Echo name. During the early 1960s, the company expanded into professional-quality guitars under the Elk brand before gradually rebranding its amplifier range as Elk as well, with some transitional models carrying both the Elk and Echo logos. Essentially copies of popular Fender models, these proved to be accurate enough that the company was threatened with legal action over their guitars and eventually the factory making their amps was acquired to produce amplifiers for Fender Japan themselves.
Converted from 100v to 240v with a hardwired IEC. The selector switch has been reinstalled upside down so 'ON' is OFF and 'OFF' is 'ON'. Thankfully, it still ROCKS and ROLLs.
