The Charvel Joe Duplantier Signature Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH is a stripped-back, high-performance instrument built to the exacting requirements of the Gojira frontman. Combining a resonant mahogany body with a pair of custom-voiced humbuckers, it delivers exceptional clarity, sustain, and power while maintaining the direct, uncomplicated control layout favoured by Duplantier.
The solid mahogany San Dimas Style 2 body is paired with a mahogany bolt-on neck featuring a hand-rubbed satin finish, rolled fingerboard edges, and a sculpted heel for effortless access to the upper frets. The ebony fingerboard features a compound 12"-16" radius that feels comfortable for both chord work and lead playing, along with a distinctive mother-of-pearl Gojira "G" inlay at the 12th fret.
A pair of Charvel Custom MF humbuckers provide plenty of output and articulation, while the single volume control is positioned slightly further back than traditional layouts to keep it clear of aggressive picking and rhythm work. Combined with the Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop tailpiece, and locking tuners, the result is a rock-solid instrument designed for reliability on stage and in the studio.
Finished in Satin Black with matching headstock and black hardware throughout.
