1930s Parlour-style acoustic, most likely of US origin. Solid maple sides with a spruce soundboard. Rosewood fingerboard and chunky neck with soft-v profile and relatively forgiving shoulders for a flat top of this era.
Restored by a local DIY luthier; the back has been replaced with two-piece back of solid Silver Wattle with the entire body being refinished however the neck retains it's original finish and profile with remarkably low action for an instrument without truss rod.
A New nut has been installed with new machine heads (Kluson Style), with a new ebony bridge and bone saddle.
The soundboard has also been converted from a ladder-bracing construction to V-bracing which has dramatically improved the projection & bass response.
Includes supplementary gig bag.
