Flow 3 Eurorack Filter Module

Flow 3 is a compact analogue filter with an unexpectedly huge sound. Housed behind a slim 6HP panel, it reimagines the classic state-variable filter topology with a distinctive character, smooth resonance response, and extensive self-modulation possibilities.

Offering simultaneous lowpass, bandpass, and highpass outputs, Flow 3 remains clean and precise while introducing subtle saturation through its core integrator design. The result is a filter that feels lively and musical without losing clarity.

Resonance is exceptionally smooth and easily reaches self-oscillation. In oscillator mode, Flow 3 becomes a stable quadrature sine/cosine oscillator with accurate temperature-compensated 1V/oct tracking, making it equally useful as a sound source.

What truly sets Flow 3 apart is its integrated auto-dynamic modulation system. A built-in voltage-controlled decay generator and envelope follower can modulate the filter frequency internally, allowing the module to effectively modulate itself. Trigger decay envelopes externally, use the incoming signal's amplitude to drive the modulation automatically, or combine both approaches for complex dynamic behaviour.

Flow 3 excels at punchy analogue percussion and kick drum synthesis, while its Linkwitz-Riley crossover response at minimum resonance also allows it to function as a clean spectrum splitter for dual-band processing patches.

Despite its compact size, Flow 3 delivers deep functionality, refined analogue tone, and highly playable modulation possibilities.
