A beautiful ‘70s Japanese dreadnought made in the Terada factory, where these were built to a high standard and aimed at players who wanted Martin-style looks without the price tag.
Similar to a Martin D45 or D35, this example features a two-piece mahogany back separated with intricate Aztec pattern stripe, lovely faded solid spruce top with excellent details like cream and pearloid binding, abalone diamond in lays on the rosewood fretboard, and interesting vertical pearloid headstock logo.
Big, lively response with a warm low end and clear top, sounding great with strumming, fingerstyle and sings well with single note playing.
