The Clean Little Secret is Catalinbread's take on the low-gain Marshall sound.
The Clean Little Secret takes the classic low-gain Marshall BB formula and gives it a much needed refinement. Catalinbread has beefed up everything from the classic amp enhancer, from the tone stack to the output stage and more, giving you just the right amount of kick. A completely overhauled tone section gives you individual control over treble and bass bands as opposed to a global tone knob, and some more bells and whistles have been added to push the unity volume level up quite a bit. The designer's favourite op-amp keeps the action whistle-clean until you push the gain, giving you delicious edge-of-breakup tones at the end of the dial, but subdued always-on enhancement tones at any other position. Some secrets are better left unkept!
