The Sennheiser MKH 30 is a figure-8 condenser microphone designed for precise stereo work and controlled pickup in complex environments. Its symmetrical transducer design delivers a wide, smooth frequency response with very low distortion, making it well suited to solo instruments, small ensembles and MS stereo setups as the side mic.

The figure-8 pattern provides strong rejection from the sides, useful for isolating sources and reducing spill in tighter recordings. It features a transformerless balanced output, low self-noise, and switchable roll-off and attenuation options for handling different recording situations. Housed in a lightweight anodised metal body, it runs on standard phantom power and is built for professional studio and field use.
