The Twang King pickup has incredible reactivity to pick attack: lighter playing delivers a soft, delicate tone and hard picking delivers a larger, louder, and more dynamic sound. DiMarzio have achieved this tone with a unique combination of controlled-tension coil-winding, specialised wiring, and magnets that are calibrated by hand. This pickup is wax-potted twice to ensure "squeal-free" performance.
