The 5059 Satellite is a 16-channel analogue summing mixer built to bring classic Rupert Neve console tone and depth to DAW-based studios. Using discrete Class-A circuitry and custom transformers, it sums stems outside the box for greater headroom, separation and harmonic character compared to digital summing alone.
Each channel has level, pan and insert access, making it easy to integrate compressors, EQs or other outboard during mixdown. Two independent stereo mix buses allow parallel mixes or stem printing, while the Silk Red and Silk Blue texture controls introduce adjustable harmonic saturation and transformer colour. Compact in a 2U rack format, it doubles as both a summing stage and an analogue routing hub for hybrid workflows.
