The Thingamagoop 2 is a handmade light-controlled synth that blends analogue tone generation with digital modulation. A photocell-driven oscillator responds to changing light, letting LEDs, room lighting, or the built-in “LEDacle” shape pitch and movement. An internal LFO and Arduino-based modulation add extra wobble, pulses, and unpredictable textures. Suits beginners and tinkerers alike, with options for Arduino reprogramming, control-voltage experimentation, and creative circuit bending. A 1/8 inch CV output lets you interface it with other gear for even stranger sound adventures.
