Vintage 1967 Gibson ES-125TDC from the Kalamazoo factory in Michigan, USA featuring a fully laminate maple, thinline archtop body with a full size profile Honduran mahogany neck (one piece) & rosewood fingerboard.

This post 1965 model features the 1 9/16" (39.7mm) nut width and sports 2 x 'Dogear' P90s - the exact spec and type of pickup found in SG Specials (Pete Townshend, Carlos Santana) at the type, acetate tortoise shell pickguard, Kluson double-line strip tuners with white plastic buttons, original nylon saddles over the ABR-1 bridge (patent number stamped) & trapeze tailpiece directly attached to the body (as opposed to the earlier floating wooden bridges seen on pre 1965 models) offering considerable sustain & quick adjustment of the intonation.

A mid-range model offered by Gibson as a more affordable alternative to the ES-175 & it's cousin, the Epiphone Sorrento, these thinlines are fantastic players with as much as charm as you could hope for in a near 60-year old instrument. You can absolutely see why these models are favoured by the likes of Marc Ribot, George Thorogood & songwriter George Ezra. Believe the hype.

Original frets are in good condition with minor pitting as are tuners as are all electronics (original). Some warping to the plastic 'Dogear' pickup covers however the top has seen no movement or warping. Neck joint has been untouched and is set perfectly albeit with some very minor separation (very stable). Truss rod has been tested in-store and has 30 degrees movement each way.

Only a few nicks on the back of the neck however unable to be noticed in hand. No breaks or repairs anywhere to be seen other than a possible replaced output socket & non original strap pins.

Includes original showroom swing tag non original case (period correct generic thinline/hollowbody type) & extra set of thumbwheel adjusters for bridge. Non original selector switch tip or knobs.
