The Sidrax is a touch based electronic instrument with seven oscillators each controlled by a wooden bar and able to be fine tuned using the faders within. There is also a master pitch knob and a master chaos knob. While the fundamental or pure sound of the oscillators is a sweet sounding triangle wave, the master chaos knob can be utilised to increase the modulation from one oscillator to the next in a circular pattern, adding some noise and washiness to your signal.
It provides 44 modulation points accessible via banana jacks arranged in seven columns. Each bar has dedicated jacks for gestures, audio outputs, and modulation inputs—colour-coded for clarity: red and orange for outputs, blue and green for inputs, and grey for the master controls. Players can patch or gesture-connect the jacks directly by touch.
The Sidrax outputs stereo sound through a mini-jack, with alternating channel behaviour during press and release, and includes a power switch plus options for internal or external 9V battery power.
