One of only three made, this quality instrument is a visual, sonic and tactile delight.
The three piece body is composed of laminated cherry with a purple heart centre stripe while the neck is a two piece quartersawn book-matched black walnut with a scarf joint to the body and finishing with a five piece veneered headstock featuring US maple, US cherry and black walnut. The neck sports a C-shaped profile and a smooth glide-y finish that makes for very comfortable playing and 24 oversize medium gauge frets on a Bubinga fretboard with understated Abalone diamonds on the fifth and twelfth frets, a 12" radius and chrome Gotoh SG381-01C tuners.
In the electronics department, this fine axe sports an Evans E1HL Hot Lead (made in the UK) single coil in the neck and and Australian made Orpheus Black Sunday humbucker (both ringed by lovingly crafted Bubinga pick up mounts) controlled by a three way pickup selector and master volume and tone pots.
All in all an exceptionally well made guitar with silky smooth feel and a great sound and aesthetic.
