The 6 watt Rex Mascot was originally manufactured from the late '60s & early '70s by Lamberti Bros. Melbourne. This amp is a 2019 reissue made from a combination of original and new upgraded parts by Lou Dallariva who worked for Lamberti Bros in their amp workshop in the early '70s. When Lamberti Bros closed in 2018, Lou purchased all of their remaining stock and parts. It features new components such as resistors and capacitors.
Australian made Voller transformers, original blue face plate, 60s era gold flecked Nylex vinyl and a new old stock Rola 12” speaker. It is powered by EL84 and 12AX7 tubes and produces around 7 watts of blistering single ended valve amp tone. Only 6-7 of these amps were made before Lou passed away 3 years ago and like the originals are destined to become highly sought after.
