The Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors Tarkine is a unique take on the VOX V828 Tonebender fuzz pedal, inspired by the raw beauty of Tasmania's Tarkine rainforest. This sharp, bright, and sizzling fuzz offers excellent mix-cutting capabilities, featuring hand-picked components for optimal performance. The circuit uses a combination of AC128 and OC76 transistors to closely emulate the original VOX sound, with added modifications for greater tonal flexibility, including a filter to adjust bass response for balancing single coils and humbuckers. Built on a '60s-style phenolic board, it includes premium components like Mullard OA91 diodes, WIMA capacitors, Alpha pots, and Cliff jacks. Finished in durable hammered green or grey powder coat, the Tarkine is as rugged and distinct as the wilderness itβs named after.
Features

All Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors utilise PNP Germanium Transistors. It is imperative that an isolated power supply be used that is negative centre, or a 9v battery is used. DO NOT use with a daisy chain, as it could result in the damage of the pedal and void the warranty. Current draw on all of these pedals is approximately 1~2 mA.
