The 2629 guitar boasts a full-sized, thinline, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design, reminiscent of the Gibson ES-335 Dot. It features an arched birch top with ƒ holes and ivory binding, complemented by birch back and sides and a hard rock maple centre block.
The set-in rock maple neck is fitted with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard adorned with ivory binding and abalone dot position markers.
The guitar is equipped with Ibanez Flying Fingers humbucking pickups, each with individual volume and tone controls, and features a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar bridge with a heavy brass tone block, a Gibraltar tailpiece with a scalloped ornament, and VelveTune tuning machines.
Additional details include a tortoise pickguard, black pickup rings, a bone nut, and Ibanez' patented Sure Grip knobs.
Made by Fujigen in Japan.
