The Korg microKORG 2 builds on one of the most influential compact synthesizers ever created, expanding its capabilities with a completely redesigned synthesis engine, an intuitive colour display, enhanced vocal processing, and powerful performance features. While retaining the portable format, mini keyboard, and immediate hands-on workflow that made the original a modern classic, the microKORG 2 offers significantly greater sonic flexibility for today's musicians, producers, and performers.

At its heart is an all-new synthesis engine capable of creating everything from classic analogue-inspired textures to evolving digital soundscapes. A vivid 2.8-inch colour IPS display transforms sound editing into a visual experience, making synthesis more approachable while providing instant feedback during performance. Version 2.0 further expands the instrument with additional synthesis options, custom oscillators and effects via the logue SDK, split keyboard functionality, and an enhanced loop recorder with slicing and step recording.

The integrated vocal processor goes well beyond the original vocoder, adding harmoniser and hard-tuning effects for contemporary vocal production. Combined with an onboard loop recorder, extensive multi-effects processing, battery operation, and flexible connectivity, the microKORG 2 is equally at home in the studio, on stage, or as a portable songwriting tool.
