Perhaps the most famous synthesiser of all time, the Minimoog Model D is a musical and technological icon. Prior to the Minimoog, synthesizers were custom built to order, and required a great deal of technical knowledge to be able to wire up and create a sound, so the Minimoog was considered the first synthesiser for the musician. The Minimoog uses the famous 4-pole (24 dB/oct) low-pass ladder filter with cutoff, resonance, ADS envelope, and keyboard tracking controls, and features 3 oscillators, noise generator, external audio input, A440 tuning oscillator, headphone and main outputs.
