Originally positioned as a local alternative to the Stratocaster, it found favour with rock and surf players throughout the decade and appeared on countless Aussie recordings. The Eastwood Sharkbite Fyrbyrd pays detailed tribute to that classic, from the distinctive upper horn cutout to the oversized headstock. It features a tone-chambered mahogany body and a set maple neck with a Modern C profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard. Three custom P90 pickups are controlled by individual on/off switches and a rotary sound selector, offering a wide range of tones from bright surf textures to gritty rock. A roller tune-o-matic bridge and Bigsby B50 add expressive vibrato, completing the vintage-inspired feel with modern reliability.
