One of the finest digital synthesisers of the late 1980s; the Roland D-50 debuted in 1987 to compete with the popular Yamaha DX-7. Utilises Roland's patented Linear Arithmetic Synthesis which combined sample playback & digital synthesis including resonant filtering. The D-50 was Roland's flagship keyboard audio synthesising unit. Made in Japan.
