Rumoured to be the first solid state synthesizer ever made, the Hohner Bass offers two basic sounds; string bass (sine wave) and tube bass (sawtooth). Controlled with a single volume knob (cool bakelite material!!!) and a percussion knob (also cool bakelite material!). Featuring a single output and IEC power socket (jug plug)
One of the more esoteric features of this unit is the decay on it is fairly short which requires the player to re-trigger notes fairly often to maintain volume, encouraging a certain playing style. Made in West Germany.
Very low output, amp required. Includes facsimile manual.
