With her stunning '65 Tele in hand, Rock and roll powerhouse Chrissie Hynde formed the Pretenders in 1979. Over the years that followed, Hynde's classic chime-y Tele tones characterised the hits and hurts of The Pretender's classic songs.
This new signature model from Fender comes with design elements perfectly matched to Chrissie's, like the faded Ice Blue Metallic finish and the chrome mirror pickguard, whilst the 'nuts and bolts' of the guitar also remain faithful to original spec: a custom mid-‘60s “C”-shaped maple neck with a 7.25” radius fingerboard.
