The Wellspring is a spring reverb and delay processor that can be both used as a standalone desktop module and mounted in 19" rackmount format.

Fully analogue, the Wellspring picks up the heritage of '70s and '80s rackmount spring verbs and brings them into the current day with full stereo processing, analogue delay lines, an analogue filter and interesting feedback routing and modulation options, making it much more than just a classic spring reverb.

The Wellspring is an analog stereo reverb with many well thought-out controls. It can sound both vintage and modern. This is due to the modulation options and the sophisticated delay. With just a flick of the wrist, drastic changes in sound can be created, from light, subtle, spherical reverb to an intense, shrill effect.

The signal first passes through a delay unit with two different delay levels. The LFO of the modulation unit can be used to modulate the delay times. The speed of the LFO can reach into the audible range. The LFO frequency can be controlled via a CV input on the back. The stereo filter is connected to the delay unit and has four different filter types: lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch. The filter can also be controlled via the modulation unit. The feedback of the delay enables the creation of spherical sounds.

The signal path is completed by a large spring reverb. This reverb has two springs per channel and produces a wide, refined reverb sound.

Particularly interesting is the Magic Feedback Loop, which can be used to control the strength of the output signal from the spring reverb to the delay. Depending on the setting, shrill sounds or long reverb tails can be produced. The potentiometer should be used carefully as it can quickly lead to extreme results.

The signal can be connected either via the rear inputs or via the front guitar input. The input gain enables targeted overdriving of the signal.
