The PK88 was designed to meet the needs of "mobile pianists" who value a high-quality and easy-to-carry keyboard, but do not need extensive MIDI capabilities. The PK88 is therefore primarily intended as a keyboard for expander or software synthesizer - especially for sound generator with piano sounds. Features a very high-quality 88-key hammer keyboard. The case is a rubustes and easy to transport black flight case with carrying handle and removable lid is used, which impresses especially for live performances due to the fast assembly and disassembly.
The MIDI functions have been deliberately limited to the most necessary: āāPK88 sends note commands on MIDI channel 1 with velocity. On the rear panel, a double footswitch can be connected to the sustain pedal and damper pedal.
