Crowther Audio Double Hot Cake Dual Overdrive Pedal

The Crowther Audio Double Hot Cake combines two versions of Paul Crowther's legendary Hot Cake overdrive in a single pedal. Handmade in New Zealand, it pairs the smoother Bluesberry-voiced Hot Cake on Channel A with the standard Hot Cake circuit on Channel B. Each channel can be used independently, giving you two distinct flavours of the classic Crowther Hot Cake overdrive. When both channels are engaged, Channel A drives Channel B and an additional Drive control comes into play, providing a higher-gain stacked sound with additional clipping and a tighter low-frequency response. Channel A uses the Bluesberry voicing, designed for a slightly smoother transition into distortion and particularly well suited to brighter amplifiers. Channel B provides the familiar standard Hot Cake response. The result is a versatile dual overdrive capable of everything from low-gain boost and edge-of-breakup sounds through to saturated stacked drive. Designed and made in New Zealand by Crowther Audio.
