It’s lively and resonant unplugged, with a dry, woody snap, and plugged in, the Lollars bring enough bite to push into gritty blues and garage tones, but still clean up nicely for jazzier stuff.
Nicely aged hardware, ivoroid binding and split block inlays throw back to late 50s and early 60s aesthetics without feeling overdone.
